The cone is designed to open the snatch block pulley, which frees the line at a predetermined point.

This trigger is easily adjusted to any chosen point on the mainline with an Allen wrench or a screwdriver and can not fall off the line like mechanically attached types. This trigger can be placed on the line at any point due to its design.
