These Remote Pull Grips give you a different angle from the other Vise Grips that pull from a loop on the end of the handle. The standard nose grips are 5" long and needle nose grips are 7" long.
The loop is laser cut from stainless steel and TIG welded on top. A carabiner can be directly hooked on, unlike an eye bolt threaded into the handle that requires a lead line. The loop on top is also far stronger than an eye bolt, and you can adjust the jaw opening without disconnecting the pull line. Not a big difference, unless you’re in a bomb suit, or it’s dark, or someone is shooting at you, or something is about to blow up. But that’s normally what’s going on when these tools are needed.
